How to submit an obituary
For information on submitting an obituary in The Post-Standard, please contact the funeral home or crematorium handling the arrangements. They will place the obituary notice for you.

Obituaries and/or corrections must be submitted by the funeral home or crematorium handling the arrangements. There is no charge for the first 2 inches of any obituary. There is a charge for obituaries that exceed 2 inches.
Photos and symbols may be included in an obituary for an additional charge.
All obituary notices appear online at syracuse.com/obits and include an online guest book service. Obituary notices must be received from funeral homes by 5:00 p.m. via fax or 5:30 via email for the next day’s publication.
