VINNY LOBDELL – President of HealthWay/PURE Global

Vinny Lobdell is a Central New York native who attended SUNY Oswego for marketing and economics and went on to the Entrepreneurial Masters Program put on by The Entrepreneurs Organization at MIT comprised of 65 of the brightest entrepreneurs from around the world.

Vinny has traveled to over 50 countries and is an expert in the art of business development in international markets. He sits on several advisory boards and recently delivered the keynote speech at  the world’s largest hospitality show in Shanghai. Lobdell commonly consults for many small-to mid-size companies on going global and has lectured at several universities.

HealthWay and PURE Global have been named to the Inc 500 fastest growing private companies and have won numerous industry awards. HealthWay products are now marketed in over 20 countries and PURE Global has been named the hotel industry’s hottest new amenity.

The Lobdell family has been instrumental in the revitalization of the Pulaski Community, most recently the historic Kallet theater in Pulaski, which has been named as one of the top destinations for live music in Central New York.

He lives in Syracuse New York and has three children, Noah, Lainey and Liam.

CINDY OEHMIGEN – President of CNY Technology Development Organization

Cindy Oehmigen is president and Center Director of the Central New York Manufacturing Extension Partnership at Central New York Technology Development Organization. She leads the organization’s team supporting growth of manufacturing and technology businesses in CNY. Cindy has held management positions with Cooper Crouse Hinds, Carrier Corp. and Loretto. She is a native of Iowa and holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial & Management Engineering from the University of Iowa and a Master’s in Business Administration from Syracuse University.

She is a graduate of United Technologies’ Lean Manufacturing University and holds a variety of certifications in training, lean manufacturing and technology. She is a Certified Growth Coach and a graduate of the Emerging Leaders program at the National Institute of Standards and Technology.

Part of her work includes workforce development through changing the perception of what manufacturing is like and encouraging more young people – especially women – to consider fields in science, technology, engineering and math.

JASON SMOROL – General Manager of The Syracuse Chiefs

Jason Smorol is General Manager of the Syracuse Chiefs, the AAA Affiliate of the Washington National’s in the International League of Professional Baseball.

A Central New York native, Jason was born in Syracuse and grew up in North Syracuse.  He has had various stops in his Minor League Baseball career over the course of 11 years.  He started in Watertown as an intern in 1993 rising to GM positions in Batavia, Staten Island, Auburn and now finally in his hometown of Syracuse.

Along the way, Mr. Smorol has taught Sports Management at SUNY Cortland and worked for the global manufacturing company, Hilti during a hiatus from his baseball career.

Jason lives in Liverpool with his wife Rachel, two daughters and three dogs.
